Craig L. Caldwell, PT

Craig Caldwell, PT, graduated from University of California, San Francisco Physical Therapy program, and opened Caldwell Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation in 1983. As a Valencia High School graduate, he enjoys working for his local community by providing health care and athletic training services to athletes in the Placentia-Yorba Linda school district. Craig utilizes a holistic approach to therapy, and believes treating the patient as a whole - not just the injury. Craig is also a certified Titleist Performance Institute therapist, which allows him to specifically help golfers return to play. He spends his free time with his four grandkids and grand-dog playing soccer at the park. Additionally, Craig enjoys cycling and golfing.

Matthew G. Hertzler, PT, CHT, CSCS

Matthew G. Hertzler, PT, CHT, RMSK

Matt Hertzler, PT, CHT, RMSK, graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific as valedictorian of his class. He also studied at Chapman University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science and was twice named Academic All-American in football. He completed a year of hand residency and specialization before receiving the title of Certified Hand Therapist in 2007. Matt is credentialed in ultrasound imaging, and was one of three physical therapists awarded pioneer status by the AIUM (American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine) in 2012. More recently, he served as a 2018 Content Expert in musculoskeletal ultrasound for the APCA (Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement). As a Placentia-Yorba Linda community native, Matt is a proud alumni of El Dorado High School. He is most thankful for his wife, Kelly, and the family God has blessed him with.

Emmanuel "Eman" Sanchez, ATC

Athletic Trainer at Esperanza High School

Emmanuel "Eman" Sanchez is the Athletic Trainer for Esperanza High School. He graduated from Cal State Long Beach with his Bachelor's in Athletic Training in 2012. He joined Caldwell Physical Therapy and Esperanza High School in 2016. He also married his wife in August of 2016 and they welcomed their first child in December 2017. Eman enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball and spending time with his family.

Deep Bhavsar, MS, ATC

Athletic Trainer at Valencia High School

Deep Bhavsar is the Athletic Trainer for Valencia High School. He graduated from Chapman University in 2007 with his Bachelor's in Athletic Training and earned his Master's degree from Azusa Pacific University in 2011. He has been working for Caldwell Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation and Valencia High School since 2007, go Tigers! He enjoys playing basketball, relaxing at the beach, and trying new restaurants.

Michael Rivera, ATC

Athletic Trainer at Whittier Christian High School

Michael Rivera is the Athletic Trainer at Whittier Christian High School. After completing 3-1/2 years in the US Army, he felt a calling in Sports Medicine. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach in late 2019 with a Bachelor's in Athletic Training. He is currently working on obtaining his Master's Degree in Exercise Science. Michael is concurrently going to Massage Therapy School as well. In his free time, he likes to spend time with family and friends, ride motorcycles, watch professional Basketball and Football, and assemble electric guitars from scratch. Go Heralds!

Anthony Hernandez MS, ATC

Athletic Trainer at Yorba Linda High School

Anthony Hernandez is the the athletic trainer at Yorba Linda high school. He began his education at Cal State LA where he received his bachelor degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise in 2017. He did a year of pre-requisite courses at Mt. Sac in 2018. He received his master's degree in Athletic Training in January 2022 from Cal State Fullerton. During his free time he enjoys spending time with family, playing soccer and traveling.

Tiana Augustus, ATC

Athletic Trainer at El Dorado High School

Tiana Augustus is the Athletic Trainer for El Dorado High School. She graduated from Long Beach State in 2022 with her Bachelor's in Athletic Training. Tiana became Certified in June and began working for Caldwell Physical Therapy in August. In her free time she enjoys working out, playing basketball, relaxing, and spending time with friends and family.
